DAP, Weldwood Resorcinol Glue.
Tube gun or paste - No.
Expensive @ ~$25 / pint - good paint stores, marine or boatbuilding supply houses carry it.
It is a catalyzed resin type glue -- two parts; resin + dry powdered catalyst. Can be mixed by weight or volume (see can). Mix and apply by brush or roller. Requires heavy clamp pressure or immediate fastening to maintain pressure during curing. Very dark, reddish brown in color.
Standard of wooden boat building -- approved / recommended for use "below the waterline" - exterior to the nth degree - constant immersion is fine, also bacteria and insect resistant.
Water clean up before the glue gels / sets / hardens -- God help you if you need to get it off afterwards. Chisels or sandpaper.

Don't forghet to add that one component contains formaldehyde, which is potentially dangerous until the glue is cured."Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

Years ago I had some, and when I mashed the lid on the powder part, the whole thing exploded. Blew the can out of my hand, and powdered glue flew all over the shop. Weird and scary. Other than a big flash, I don't remember much else. No injuries at all.
