Hi…looking for a hardwood floor nailer. Have been using a manual one and wanted to upgrade to a pneumatic. Anyone have any recommendations on a nailer or how to find reviews on models. Any particular type of nailer I should stay away from?
One other item, I’ve used nails. I’ve been seeing lots of nailers that will use staples. Is there any difference or reason one would use nails over staples?
Appreciate any responses

Appreciate it. The links helped.
Ever pull any hardwood up? Two inch nails makes it quite difficult. Staples just don't have the beef.
After renting several models over the years I chose a Bostich manual to convince myself I was stil young and because I hated the sound of the compressor drowning out the music and dragging a hose all over. When I can't swing the big lug any more I'll give it up.
Have a good day

Got the PC nailer and love it, only bad part is you have to come up with your own way to adjust the shoe to different sized flooring (5/8",3/4"). I used washers for spacers, works great. 20,000 nails and going strong.

Chuck,
Thanks for the response. I actually have a PC compressor. Will have to check this out.
Thanks for the response. Sounds like bostitch is the way to go. Seems everyone likes it. Will have to check if the nails will fit the manual one I have now.
