I need to “T” into 3/4″ black poly ethelene flex water pipe, ~ 60# psi. I tried a compression T but it seperated after a few days. I’m not use as to how tight to make the connection. Is this the best approach or will a barbed T work better? Other ideas?

A barbed T with two hose clamps per leg. Pour hot water on the ends of the pipe first to soften them up. Have a buddy there to help you push the parts together.
And each pair of hose clamps should end up with their heads on opposite sides of the pipe.r/l r/l, l/r l/r, r/l l/r, l/r r/l, whatever... As long as any two consequtive hose clamps have their heads on opposite sides of the pipe. Or at least a third of a rotation away from each other.
Yeh... That'll work.
Yeah, otherwise the feng shui just isn't right.

Yeah, well feng you too, buddy !;o)Offsetting the heads of the hose clamps is an old automotive trick I learned decades ago. It lowers the risk of a leak.

Yeah, I can see that -- lessens the chance that excess diameter will be "bunched up" all on one side. It's just that I like the look of having the clamps all neatly in a row, standing at attention.

This is what the supply house carries in my area, they work with compression fittings and the sleeves. These are rated to go underground for the supply line for the house, so it might be overkill for what you want.
