I live in Mass. This past weekend we received an unusual amount of rain. I checked my basement and it was dry. Although I did notice that my basement elector was running for no reason. I took it apart and noticed a small slice about one inch long on the bottom where water is coming in from. I need to patch this but with what is the question. The manufacturer says it cant be fixed. I am not about to rip out the pit. I am thinking about a two part epoxy, then roof mastic, then one inch of concrete to hold it down. anyone have a better idea?
