I’m sure I will get an answer I trust here.
I’ve had a pool installed & was beginning to question my plan to use stone or bluestone around it. My son has it and complains that it is too hot on the feet at his vs. concrete so I was thinking of using one of the products described in this Months HB but am not sure about the framing below. Is it practical to frame the deck tight to grade? Here in the NE we install all decks above grade with 4′ frost footings. What happens at grade? Could I frame it with just 4″ x 6″ sleepers in 8′ x8′ squares or will it heave?
Concrete would have to be pumped in where this is and it may be my last resort.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I invented Coke with Lime.
If you ever walked on Trex barefoot on a hot sunny day you might reconsider. I'm not sure about the other composites, you might want to investigate further
