I had an addition built on my house 6 years ago. Everything is fine, except that the nails on the cedar clapboards are all popping out. They are 1 7/8″ plain shaft, galvanized nails. What do I do here? Replace the popped ones with ring-shanked? Replace them with longer nails? Keep tapping them back in?
