If its going to be on HGTV my guess is its as good as the putty chaser by the same company.
And I think they have that wierd hammer holster that leaves the handle sticking up to get caught on things or poke you in the ribs..
HaHa! The Putty Chaser. My Father-In-Law gave me one of those. Now THAT is a POS! I don't think you could find a better way to chew a nice old window to shreds.
My reply to the OP was tounge in cheek as giving a putty chaser as a perpetual gift was discussed in the fest folder...
Looks like a time waster that won't do what it says it will.
If you can't eyeball it, that thing isn't going to make it better.

Never tried it myself though My guess is it would be faster to use plastic tile spacers, besides the speed, often I've had to cheat the spacing a hair here and there to make the layout work with the room, which would defeat the purpose of having a tool that would exactly space each and every tile.
