I like the precolored Hardiboard stuff. Anyone know how you caulk the ends if they come pretinted?

They sell pretinted caulk
Thanks!
it's pricey, but worth it.Just picked up a case. $78. My dealer sells OSI Quad colored to match. I've worked 4 different colors recently and each time the caulk has been an exact match. Not close, not workable but an exact match. Stuff flows nice too and is sticky as hell. Only down side is you have to tool it almost immediately. One benefit to that down side, if you lay a nice bead that doesn't need tooled, it'll set up before it moves. No runs, etc. When you place the order, make sure to get at least one touch up kit. The kit will be a case of caulk, with exact color matched paint. One small tip dispenser and one wider tip dispenser. Just wipe or dab on.
Groovy man!
and for what it's worth, the finish on the sheets and planks is satin. I almost had the girl at sherwin williams convince me it was gloss, but me and the other SW guy both guessed satin. Was able to find a mix that's also a damn near perfect match. Wanted to close to corner boards, turned out close enough for field touch ups. Gloss would have worked on the corner boards and trim, but satin makes it work on the Hardi itself.
