Here in Toronto a lot of new and renovated houses are finished on the outside with a precoloured stucco finish. It is normally applied over styrafoam with a base coat then the finished pre mixed coloured coat.
I have a back of a house to finish and was hoping that this would be a good time to learn the right method.
Does anyone know of a web site that would give the proper methods. I have contacted the maker of the finished product and was told they have a class once a year however they never called me back.
The system uses light styrafoam decorative moldings for around doors windows and corners.
In Canada the product is made by Durabond.
This would be a great how to article for Fine Homebuilding.
