Here in southwest Michigan some people are putting in pressure treated foundations
I recently was bidding against someone who is planning on putting a pressure treated foundation under the house. I believe this to be wrong and poor building practice, but do not know of any horror stories I am interested in a discussion. are there any proponents of it?

Splintergroupy built and lives in a house with one. I think if you would look it up under past discussions you might change your mind!
every house I built in Alaska had a pressure treated foundation......as well as most I've seen going up.....
In Ohio it's considered to be shoddy construction........but then so did the TJI at one time..........
I'd say if you follow procedure it would be fine in the right soil conditions.
Part of my problem with pressure treated foundations is the wood that is put under ground only has a 40 year warranty ? how does that make sense?
How do you look up past discussions? with keywords?

Here, a wood foundation is the kiss of death for resale. Glad to hear there are more parts of Michigan that have building going on than the area I just visited.

I would be leery of heavy clay soil, but otherwise they seem to hold up quite well I believe....as to looking up stuff? No clue.
What is the warrenty on block foudations?
What is the warrenty on poured cement foundations?
The arguement that it comes with only a 40 year warrenty, is actually a positive. I have never seen a cement foundation with any warrenty.
Last I knew you could get .80 preasure treated lumber designed for underground use. This is not the normal stocked stuff at the lumber yard.
