Bon Dia,
My trailer needed some new steps.
I picked up some wood cutoffs at the recycling place.
All the pieces look like pressure treated lumber.
The stamp says CF PRIME M1 ad-19 APP or it might be HPP; kinda hard to read.
Looks like hem/fir and some pitch pine 2×4 2×6 and 2×8 pieces.
Is this treated wood?
Thanks.

These are markings in ink on the face of the wood itself?
Unfamiliar to me, but that does not prove much.
Typically, I see treatment notations on plastic tags stapled to one end of each board.
Most ink markings on the faces are mill / species / drying method / grade stamps - nothing to do with treatment.
Others will chime in.......

Greetings czella,
As a first time poster Welcome to Breaktime.
I cannot tell you off hand the meaning of the lettering but usually is it looks like pressuretreated it is.
Regardless, this post, in response to your question, will bump the thread through the 'recent discussion' listing again which will increase it's viewing.

Problem is, with the old arsenic-treated lumber you could pretty tell by looking, but with the several new varieties it's much harder, especially if it's been stored outside.
