About to start texturing a ceiling that had popcorn accoustic on it. I scraped it off, then sanded it but there is still residual up there. The client is thankfully requesting a heavy texture, but I can’t decide if I should go ahead and kilz it with an oil-based sealer to lock in all that sh*t. Or shoudl I texture and then seal it. Or both. I think if I use a water based sealer it might gunk up. Somthing like this needs to be done right the first time other wise its a mess. So I turn to the gurus of FH to guide me through. Seems like lately I have more questions than answers. Why is that?,…see, there is another one.
