Propane light gas line size
Will be adding additional Falk propane gas lights in the cottage in Northern Ontario this summer. Not positive, but believe they take 3/8″ copper lines, any one confirm or deny this?
Want to get the copper line now before I go up.
I will not be using compression fittings
Thanx
Let’s not confuse the issue with facts!

been a few years since i was a licensed tech on gas however then some rules were :
all joints were flared
soft copper is sized by the OD and is refrigeration quality level
flare nuts are heavy duty level of quality
use gas joint gunk on all threads
test all joints with soap & water before lighting anything
I don't know the recomended size BUT.
I ran 5/16" tubing on a 40' run, for a NG porch light last year.
I used 5/16" because I had a bunch of it (still do) left over from AC liquid line swap outs.
I had plenty of volume, I think a 1/4" line would have worked fine.
Propane runs at a higher pressure then NG.... so pick your poison.
