We are building a two level insulated concrete form house, with the final floors to be finished concrete on both levels (slab on grade on lower level, and obviously a raised slab above). We will saw cut, acid stain and seal the floor ultimately.
The problem is keeping the floor clean and undamaged during construction until we stain and seal at the latter part of the project. I’m thinking of a heavy paper covering all of the concrete, topped by old carpet. Any experiences or suggestions to offer?
