We’ve got a grey roof, grey deck, and grey gutters (see pic). So for downspout material I chose grey PVC electrical conduit. The color is right, it performs well, and is UV resistant.
But I’m faced with a few situations where I need to create a “plumbing” solution involving wyes and tees. I can’t find the fittings anywhere. Do they exist? If not, is there a workaround?
Thx.

Can't help you with the fittings, but the most "unusual" use I've seen for PVC conduit is making snowshoes.

I think you might have to go back to metal (but-sizing for the males/females) to do the connections. PVC Cond. has fittings but I've never seen anything like that.............
How about another schedule 20/30/40 fit?
Don't want it to look like an above the roof toilet however.

Zackly.
Luckily, most of the connections I need to make can be stashed under the deck. I'll look into your schedule 20/30/40 idea, but unfortunately it isn't available in the nice navy-grey like the conduit.
Oh well.... it's the price you pay for these hillbilly ideas....
Whelp,
with a guy with no gutters and certainly no downspouts..............
I don't have much info to share.

Yeah, I hear ya.... woulda shoulda coulda. I've followed this debate for years.
But the current design is best suited with gutters and downspouts.
Maybe here: http://pvcfittingsdirect.com/ ?
Good lead; thanks. This

This follows with Cal's suggestion to match sched 40 with PVC conduit. I have no idea if it will work, but at least it's all PVC, which means even if the joints are a bit sloppy, the cement should melt the stuff together.
The results don't need to be pretty, just water-tight, most of it will be hidden.
In hindsight I see I was a bit naive to think that wyes and tees would exist in the electrical world. I now see it's all about pull boxes and LB fittings.
Live and learn.
Thx.
Worst case I'd think you could use some rubber fittings. There are rubber versions of Ys and Tees.
Ahhhh..... forgot about that. :-)
I wouldn't even call that "worst case".
In fact, the black/grey combo of rubber/grey conduit is prolly less offensive visually than transitioning to sched 40.
Great idea.
Next thing you know, Junkhound will be using Ferncos to route 3 phase underground to his shop!!!!
