I’ve been a happy schluter – kerdi guy for a while, but this idea of a linear edge drain is interesting, just don’t wanna be the first one to try it.

Quick DrainTM stands alone in the construction of today's showers. Our leading edge is due to our superior construction, design and functionality. Our shower drains are clean and unintrusive - the outdated round center shower drain is gone. The Quick Drain TM shower drain can be used with any tile size and can be installed under the shower door or against the shower wall.
Quick DrainTM is the lowest-profile bathroom and shower drain in the world. It is easy to clean and has a very high flow rate. Ease of installation keeps this shower drain in demand by home builders and contractors as well as by discerning homeowners.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Never heard of it, but it seems like a cool idea. Especially for patterns in the floor tile and the fact that the slope of the floor is flat instead of toward the center.

Yeh...I got that ad too and wondered about it as well. I'm guessing it's pretty expensive. Even the Kerdi drains are pretty expensive. That one has to be a fortune.

I wouldve liked to seen the steps involved.
Family.....They're always there when they need you.
If you look at the site there is a pretty crude installation video.
They reference another product to use for waterproofing and tie into the drain, so its not a complete system like schluter.
Still , I like the idea and hope they , or someone else, pushes foward.
