    It's a secret!

Actually, maybe it got moved to the tavern?

For some reason it got moved to the "Tavern" which is a "secret" section of the forum that you need special access to -- really!

    Here's thelink: http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=115165.1

To get accss, do a search for "forum access"

Unfortunately, mention "beav*r" and the wise cracks start coming, leading to the thread's "demotion" to the Tavern.

You got railroaded, it was moved to the Tavern which you cannot see w/o sysop permission.  It's where all non construction related posts go............and tho yours was about an old tool, some responding posts that dragged it down into "in you endo", it was moved.

Try again in the Tools folder-maybe this time you'll get a worthwhile reponse.  Thus far, nobody knew anything important to relate except-"it might be a Beaver Rockwell, which the poster thought might be a precursor to Delta Tools.  I'm old, but not that old.

This brand name was used by Callander Foundry and Mfg. Co. of Guelph on their line of good quality moderately-priced home-shop equipment. Callander was bought by Rockwell Manufacturing Co. in 1953, and renamed the Beaver-Delta Division of Rockwell. For more information see the entry for Callander Foundry.

To my knowledge, when a post gets moved and a newcomer or non permission guy trys to find it, they see nothing.

In addition to all the preceeding try the KNOTS forum, as well.  More woodworkers there than builders/tradesmen(people, sorry ladies).

Those folks are great with the tool questions, too.

Look above in the yellow part of the header to the right and click on KNOTS, B/T's 'cousin', so to speak.
