Questions on my remodel (link to pics)
Hi everyone,

I’m remodeling the attic bedroom in my 1st house. It has a 1/2 bath, and I’m almost ready to start tiling. Does the existing piping stick out far enough for me to tile the walls? This “tiling the walls” is somewhat of an afterthought, so I know I may not be able to. But maybe I can?
Another issue: my toilet flange is busted. I plan to install a tile floor and a pedestal sink. How much clearance should I leave between the tile and the current flange so the plumber can fix the broken flange? Or does the plumber have to fix the flange before I tile?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Get your plumber to put in a new flange and tile away.............Rik............
The supply lines stick out far enough for me. go for it.
I would replace the drain stub too, or at least have a look in the wall before you tile.
Those things eventually rust away, better now than later.
