I’ve just spent the day doing solid (iso) insulation and have conflicting stories to ease the itch.(I’m not usually bothered by insulation).
Hot or cool shower/bath/WHAT? Any other ideas appreciated, Phil.

I assume you mean fiberglass insul. Scalding hot hot hot shower works great for me. But then everyone's different.
*Actually, polyisocyanurate, beige inside ,black paper outside. Cuts kind of like sponge toffee, less fun, bad taste, ITCHY.
*any shower....just to get rid of the loose fibers... then ignore it..most people will stop itching in a day or so...the itch is from the fiberglass fibers reinforcing the black paper.same reinforcement in "Shingle -Mate" & Roofer's Select " roofing felt
*start with cold shower to rinse stuff away while your pores are closed. Hot shower opens pores.
*Did just that, finally. Couldn't stand it any longer, it worked, thanks all,Phil
