Can someone recommend a book or article with detailed advice on new installations, retro-fitting from below under the sub-floor, how to determine the size of the heating source, using the radiant heat system water for domestic use, etc.? We are renovating and adding on to our house and we plan to use wet radiant heat in the old and new parts. We plan to do most of the work ourselves. The finish floors will be wood, except in bathrooms. We are experienced in remodeling but have no experience with radiant heat.

The John Siegenthaler book is probably the best. It'll cost you less than one of the circulator pumps you'll need.
Go to Amazon.com and search for "hydronic heating" and you'll find it.
