We had to pull all of the vermiculite insulation out of two older houses. We are going back in with blown fiberglass. Maybe not the best option, but the best available.
We need to install rafter vents from the vented soffits, at least a few feet up the rafters. I have found quite a few options for normal 24-oc, and even 16-oc framing. The problem is that one of these houses has 2X4 rafters at 12-oc. Does anyone know of a source for rafter vents that narrow?

Unfortunately it's the wrong season of the wrong year, but corrugated plastic lawn signs work a treat for this. If the roof slope is too shallow to just staple them in place, I figured out a way to use a couple of pieces of lath to hold them -- requires only two screws after the board is stapled to the lath.
'bout this?
if you're talking about the little styrofoam vent chutes, some of them are perforated in the middle where a 24" wide one can be torn in two. Staples one side to the rafter side, other to the deck bottom.
