I’ve been working for the past several days at a country club. I’ve been reviving life into the old outdated and worn out banquet bar. In my not so humble opinion, the work has gone very well and the bar looks great. Although the place has been closed for a week, several members have been in anyway (apparently they don’t care that the place is closed, they like to come and tell the help what to do) All have been very complimentary and have, I think, been impressed with the work.
I will be returning on Monday to do the same work to the member’s bar.
I feel like I’m missing a marketing opportunity if I don’t make some effort to have the members all know who has done this work. But I’m not sure how. I’ll be working in the closed member’s bar from about 5 iin the morning until about 11 at night to get it knocked out in one day and then I’ll be gone with no trace of who I was.
So, any suggestions on getting my name out to the members? And most of my work is for niddle class customers who I relate to, get along with, and who’s expectations can all be met by me and my little company. Is this wealthy clientelle one I want or just a PITA to work for?
