Does this make sense to you?
Guy is looking at a new house, the bedrooms apparently have no insulation above them (either on the ceiling or roof).
Builder says : he claims to be using a new kind of insulation called “knee walls” or something like that. The insulation is supposedly in the walls where it can’t be seen. The ceiling is attached to the frame of the house, and there is nothing between it and the underside of the roof.
Is this for real? How does it work?

This was on a fishing forum of all places. However, that's pretty much all the details.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

That 'builder' is an emotional flim flam artist. I wouldn't touch the house.

To hard to know what the buyer is saying about ceiling and roof. In one post it sounds like and attic is above the bedrooms and in the other it sounds like it could have been a cathedral. Insufficient data.
Tell the guy to come here and he'll get the right answer. ;-)
