As a enginer I’ve used Thomas Register as a source of information on most needs. What source do Architects use. I’ve a job that involves some buildings.
Thanks in advance

Remember, Sweets Catalogs only have about 10% of the product information available in the building industry.
The Sweets CD-rom that I have has even less than the Catalog.
It is fine for a product information starting point. I find that online searches do just as well for more specific information.

*Generically, does anyone use the Architectural Graphic Standards?

Andrew:
Regarding AGSs, the great thing about it is the web site. It allows you to download images. The book, about $100.00, I use too; I like the fact that it is a one source building companion, although it is just a design guide and really makes you look up more specifics elsewhere (product data sheets). Along the same line as AGSs is "Timesavers Standards for Interior Design and Space Planning," this has more information on recommended clearances. Although, the ADA stuff in my Timesavers is not accurate enough to use.
I have a few other essential books that I work out of -- but I'll save them for later. Take Care.
