I recently salvaged and surface planed 1920’s white oak strip flooring to replace my old house kitchen floor. I would prefer to use a penetrating oil finish rather than the 3 to 4 coat poly oil varnish system. I read about a foreign product called Synteko solid oil 1612 with excellent wear resistance. I’ve e-mailed the USA Synteko distributor for a purchase location but they have failed to answer me. Is anyone out there familiar with this product?? Is it suitable for Kitchen wood floors?? Do you know of a source where I can purchase Synteko Natural 1612?? Your advise and help would be appreciated
