Is anyone familiar with rebuilding the exterior of an existing hot tub (materials, manufacturers, etc.).
I have a 4 year old, 96″x96″ hot tub with an exterior made from 2″x 1/4″ interlocking wood slats. The wood on the exterior is rotting and needs to be replaced. I am amenable to replacing the existing slats with a type of outside rated paneling or other material. My motivation here is inexpensive, ease of installation, and durability once installed.
If someone can steer me to a solution, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

The easiest thing would be to replace them with the same thing that's on there now, probably 1X4 T&G cedar. I'd go for redwood if you live somewhere that it's available otherwise cut new cedar, seal it good and install.
Dang, it should not have rotted that quick. Most I have seen are either redwood or cedar. A picture or two would help.
If on the cheap, maybe t-1-11, or maybe hardie siding in panel form.
