I’ll have to regrout the tiles in my kitchen, because I’ve discovered the dog’s nails have cut into the grout seams. the floor has 12″x12″ tiles with an 3/16″ grout line.
I’m thinking to use one of the epoxy of other non-traditional types of acrylic grout so this will not occur again. can those with experience using these grouts advise on their pros or cons? and preferred brands?
I will of course remove all old grout with a grout saw.
Thanks

All I use anymore is Laticrete Spectralock. Just looked at a three year old job at a doctors office entrance. A bright as the day we installed it. Same for the bathrooms.
I highly suggest it.

Bruce Spectralock that sounds similar to quartz lock, the pigment is not a dye but in the sand and the vechile is urathane. http://www.starquartz.com/ I used the quartz lock for the first time with good results. There is another tread Shower Tile Grout is Soft I posted this there:The cool thing on the quartz lock is you can use it as your caulking too. I buy cheap plunger style cake decorators from the dollar store put on an angled tip, fill it up with grout and get a perfect bead. Wallyo
