JLC wasn’t a WOW for me this year.
Just saw this recently. A bit pricey but the boss has been thinking of maybe whispering in my ear that he maybe might be willing to foot the bill if………….
Anyone ever attend this?
A bit pricey but it looks like a rocking bunch of seminars.
“No more excuses.Personal accountability in business and life.”
“Replace finger pointing with a positive approach that seeks solutions.”
Good stuff.
Anyone?

Looks like a good conference Eric. I wasn't wowed by JLC Live either. Unfortunately I'll be working overtime around then to finish a job and won't be able to go.
I'm with you on the JOB thing though. Steady pay and...I guess that's it. Steady pay is good.
Dit you attend a seminar at JLC?
I did a lead/supervisor thing with Tim Faller. To say it was not a very dynamic presentation would be polite.[email protected]
I did a seminar with Tim two or three years ago. I enjoyed it but I have read his book several times so I didn't learn much new in the class.
This year I enjoyed the seminars by John Connelly on hip roof framing and one with a concrete countertop guy who used to work with Fu-Tung Cheng.
Not sure about terminology--I did the short classes on Friday--did you do the full-day intensives? Those scare me.
Tim's was a full day (8-3 ?) and then I came back for a quickie with Micheal Stone.
Tim needs to get fast and furious or something. I found a lot of repetition in his presentatiion. His book is similiar too.
I enjoy reading about the Lead Carpenter concept more in trade publications because it is discussed as an in use tool.[email protected]
