I might try to make the exhibits one day. Never met an archy from UK. When will you be there?"Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

I plan to be there most days, what day are you planning on being there...
but you sure you haven;t been token the ganga? I'm not an archy and I'm from kansas?
I thought you went to school and got your archy degree. And what's the blue chicken in the lower left corner? That's UK, right?"Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

Man, some people....
When are you thinking of going?
Probably Wed or Thur. It's 4.5 hr drive from here, need to find some way to tie it in with a site visit to a project so I can claim partial mileage, and an excuse to be out of the office for a day. I haver a project in College Park md that is should start by then. Even better I have one in Towson that hasn't started but might need a site visit anyway. "Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

I read it wrong, that is a little more reasonable!
I live near Balto CAG. You sure you want to come all the way from Kansas? I don't think you'd be missing much. The convention center is pretty sucky.
I'm staying in DC with a friend. May get a room the nights of the show depending on how bad the first day's commute is.
Convention center can't be that horrible. I go mostly for the seminars and a little to browse the show floor.
The wife and I are going we'll be in town the 10th to the 13th.
Not going to the show, but went in 2004, and it was very well worth it for me.
The best seminars I went to were by Clay Nelson, Bev Koehn, David Bryan, Paul Winans, and Mark Richardson. Had Jud Motsenbacher for NAHB classes too. They all had good audiance participation, and lots of ideas were flowing back and forth.
There were some duds too, but I don't see them listed in the schedule.
At least a third of what I got out of the conference was from just talking with other people at the show and at after hours events.

I've went in 05 and 06, and skipped last year.
I agree most of the seminars are well worth it. I sat through 2 that I didn't get much out of but more because I agreed and already thought about what the speaker was saying.
The show floor is worth walking through but not really the reason I go.
