I have a covered porch with an exposed aggregate concrete floor. At some phase of completing the ceiling an adhesive was used (and spilled) in a few places where it was not cleaned up before it set in the nooks and crannies of that aggregate. Is there some super duper (but safe) solvent I could use or am I doomed to endless hours of scraping? The dried adhesive is hard, tough, and kind of yellowish. Kind of ambiguous but that’s all I know. How many different types of adhesives would be used in this application? Or is that like asking how many stars are in the sky?

first, get the guy responsible for the job. have him do it or find someone who will. if no go that rt. then use vin. and hot water with a wire brush for wood glue. or if it's const. adhes. try knocking it off with a chisel. if that don't work, a solvent might soften it up enough to scrape. be careful not to just move it around and make a bigger mess. be even more careful with the solvents. read the cautions on the label. some to try, thinner, lacquer thinner, acetone, or toulenol. these are very flammable!! maybe tri-chlorethane if you can find it. ozone depleter. best of luck to ya. remember.....be careful of fire, eyes hands if there soft.
