My sister recently bought a house and she removed some carpets from some rooms that have wood floors underneath. She doesn’t plan on refinishing them right now but there is some glue around the edge. What is the best way to remove the glue while trying to keep the finish as good as possible? We realize that the finish won’t be perfect.
Thanks

T- you were on that like a chicken on a junebug. 1 min ain't bad.
So what would you use? A slightly damp rag of mineral spirits?

Citri-Solv. It's a concentrated orange-based solvent I use it straight and clean up with a little water. I've never had a problem with it removing the finish.
