Today I had to remove 4 broken/chipped bathroom wall tiles. For some strange reason those 4 turned into 7. (Does this mean I can double what I charge:)?)
Therefore my question becomes, How do you remove an individual wall tile w/o breaking an adjacent one?
Thanks,

Take out the grout first. Then work very carefully.

Tile supply places will have diamond blade hand grout saws specifically for that job. Handy for lots of other things, too. Like finishing up the ends of cuts in stucco made with diamond circular saws. I also use it to cut holes in old plaster for electrical boxes, easier than running an extension cord for a power tool.

Like ed says, remove the grout all around, then destroy that tile, don't try to pry it out. If narrow grout joint, drill a series of holes so you can work out pcs.

take a center punch and strike the tile enough to crack into smaller pieces, repeat as needed, don't try to pry it out from the outer edge or you'll sure as #### bust the tile next door.

Try chopping it up with a diamond saw.

Remove the grout..
Center punch the tiles you want to remove.....
