Removing narrow frame alum.type window
I have a project wherein I would have to remove a single hung double wide alum. frame type of window. It probably has a nail fin which has been covered by a piece of 1 x 4 which has been wrapped with alum . coil stock also. These windows all are drywalled returned on the inside. The siding is the old LP masonite about 20- yrs. old, heavily painted and caulked with quad type of ext. caulk.
There are approx. 1,100 of these types of windows which the company wants to replace!
I have some ideas of how to proceed with this removal, but I am always open to suggestions or someone who has dealt with this type of project.
Thank you for your help.
