Any suggestions on removing new construction windows that have a flange behind the siding? These are windows from the 80’s, are all aluminum and won’t come apart to leave the flange behind the siding. So far I’ve been hacking them up with a sawzall and an angle grinder. I’ve been hoping someone knows a nice little trick for getting these out but I’m starting to doubt there’s any easy way.

Maybe use a skil saw with metal blade- we've done it this way and it is pretty quick. If you can't fit the saw in there, try cut off wheels on the angle grinder instead of the grinder wheel- takes about 10 minutes per window instead of an hour or so....
Lots of stuff flying around- we used good rated masks, also ear, eye, and gloves.
