Drywall guys dropped nails in a fiberglass bathtub which had water in it. They sat there for probably a month+. There are now rust stains on the FG. Anyone know any tricks for removing the stains?

I MIGHT WOULD TRY GOOF OFF PAINT REMOVER BEFORE I USED IT FOR A WATERING TROUGH
Matt, doesn't anybody check these jobs regularly?
Bum deal to not bend over and pick 'em up.
Used a product safe for fibreglas (check the label), called The Works. Would take the rust stains off from old galv. pipes with little or no scrubbing.
Best of luck.
CLR is also something to try, never used it but it is supposed to do the trick.

subs not cleaning up after themselves???
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->

Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
That's a given I guess, but it's s.o.p. to check all the usual places damage could happen to finished goods, and what usual victim better than an acrylic tub. The hangers dropped the screws, the finishers should have caught it. Shame it had to wait for Matt to find it. Better than scratches I'd guess.A great place for Information, Comraderie, and a sucker punch.

Oxcalic acid is a good stain remover in general.
Barkeepers Friend has oxcalic acid along with a non scratching "abrasive".
I would start with just a moist poltice of Barkeepers Friend.
Oxalic acid. Sometimes sold in paint stores as "wood bleach". Also a component in many deck cleaners.
Try a product called Iron Out. It's a powder you mix with water. I think it would do the trick.
