Hey Guys,
I need some suggestions. I have a 1250 sq ft room I am stripping off the floor. I have already removed a layer of peel and stick floor tile with a tile ripping machine. Beat me senseless for 8 hours yesterday. but the flooring is history. Now I have the unholy task of getting the remains of the adhesive off the floor. Whoever placed the tile used peel and stick, as well as the “VCT” yellow adhesive. I found some “Kleen Strip Adhesive Remover” in a gallon can, but this stuff is $ 25 a gallon, and getting 88 sq ft per gallon. nearly $400 for this stuff will break me. Does anyone have any sugestions on a cheaper way to do this? I mean this will work, but man… any help will truly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Have you tried H2O?
Assuming you are trying to remove the adhesive from a wood floor? You can't flood the area, but give this a try-it's free.
Wet rag laid over the floor might soften the adhesive. Might be able to srape off the softened adhesive.
This the result of homowners dumping a bucket of water on the floor after recently pulling lino from the concrete. Took them a while to find something to "sweep" the water towards a floor drain. They used my push broom. Remarkable that the adhesive softened and came up. Also remarkable I ended up with a broom with one thick bristle.
