I found some land on the top of the mountain with a view. Its fer sale pretty cheap. The catch is exposing the view. Gotta cut a bunch of trees on a steeper slope than a truck can drive. Thats a fourth of the land which borders my road and a mountain bluff. On the other side of my road is the building sites. When the trees are cut from the road to the bluff , its where Eagles dare to be. The building sites are up hill from the road so that will be a vantage point for seeing 50 miles across a river valley. Ill post some pics in a bit as Im running a blocker now .
Well better get to it .

Ok back to it .
The land sits right above the cabin shown in the pics. Right above it as a matter of fact. Theres a holler to the side which has the bluff .
I thought about building 12 x 24 ft cabins with lofts for sleeping .
I was thinking about leaving them in the rough.
Community well with a hand pump and johny toilets. In other words better than a tent but no more equipped. I was planning on hanging a five foot wash tub inside for baths and a galv bucket with dipper for drinking . [mostly effects. ] A wood stove and a supply of wood. The loft would be ready for your own bedrolls. Thinking about furnishing a 6 ft dinning table and chairs , but you would need to bring your own lawn chairs to use out side and inside for living furniture. I guess I could go a sink if you could fetch the water from the well . After all Im furnishing a galv bucket and a dip bucket for the well on dog chain.
Any iders ?

Wow, those fall colors are beautiful. I'm surprised you're ahead of us here in Maine--must be the elevation.
Will this be one of your investments or for yourself?
That was last year Wood . Be gettin close to the same time as the colors are going on now . My cabin is up there .
Yes , its an investment property for me. Either rent or sell small cabins.
