We just remodeled our kitchen and installed ceramic tile on the counter top. The tile is cobalt blue and already has scratches. I didn’t know tile could scratch and the tile store where we purchased the tile did not tell us. My question is can the scratches be minimized? polished? What would be the best way to protect the tile that is not yet scratched. Thanks.

Well as you now know ceramic tile can and will scratch badly when used as a counter top. You should at least have been told to use a heat proof mat type thing under hot pots and well anything hot. Never use scouring or abrasive powders or let any any type of gritty dust / dirt lie on ceramic tiles and then wipe it off with a cloth common sense really.
Use a ph balanced cleaner for day to day cleaning including a grout sealer enhancer.
What is a ph balanced cleanser? Where is it purchased? Thanks.
