Woodpeckers are making holes in our front porch columns – can I learn how to repair them instead of having to try to find someone to do it – we live in Branson MO and construction people here would rather fish or hunt! Thanks, Neil

I'm sure that someone will come along and help you on this, I just had a comment, I too would rather hunt and fish and drink and watch basketball and play with the kids and play with the kids mom and......
Anyhow you get the gist, this will at least keep it close to the top

Dryvit: 1" foam with a colored tex cote over it.
Also the source of many law suits because of failure.View ImageGo Jayhawks
And maybe the woodpeckers are trying to tell you something.
Neil,
Very easy to repair.... If there is any of the finish material left, usually in a 5 gallon pail, open, stir it a little and put it on with a sponge or whatever so you can approximate the finish.. If none left, contact Dryvit for a sample amount, usually about a quart. Also, you may want to get a matching color caulk from HD or a local contractor supplier. Just make certain that on the tube, it meets ASTM C-920.
Email me direct if you have further questions.

Try this site http://www.teifs.com which is Texas EIFS...I think that's the same stuff. There's an office in San Antonio (might be the home office) and they will sell a gallon for $10. If it's one of their products on your house, they can match the color. There's a list of distributors on the site, and there's one in Missouri. Get me a holler if their prices are too high, UPS doesn't charge much :)
Do it right, or do it twice.
