NEED A RECOMMENDATION FOR A GOOD BOOK
I’m working residential construction and need a good resource for basic sizing of timber construction. Looking for something with a lot of joist, rafter load tables for picking out 2x’s. and sizing 2x headers (dbl 2X’S and with steel plates) for floor loads etc. Also a list of weights of materials like 1/2 gyp board partitions, brick, block.
ANY LEADS ARE WELCOMED !

Buy a code book. It has all of the perscriptive material you need.
(Anything thing else requires an engineers stamp.)
