Does anyone know of a good place where I can get some info on the IBC codes for multi-family dwellings? Not necessarily just the full code listings, but something easier to digest that lists the differences between the single family and the multi-family buildings. Thanks for any help.

I think I mean IRC actually. I'm specifically talking about a 3-4 family home in Connecticut. Thanks.
I don't know if I can help,
I don't know if I can help, but I will at least reply.
I have a copy that I got at my local city building dept. They can be a bit pricey if you don't use them very often. You might try your local library. Maybe someone will come along with better info. Good luck.
Yeah, I'm pretty familiar
Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with the standard building codes here. But I'll be doing a 3 family coming up, and I really don't feel like investing 6 months of my life trying to decipher the codes themselves. I was hoping for some webpage or something that is more along the lines of "You must have 5/8" drywall on common walls", and "Each unit's door to the common area must be a firedoor", etc. I went to the town's building department and asked if they had any sheets or pamphlets with some multi-family code info, and the secretary woman looked at me like I was insane.
so no one?
