I’m looking for retractable door screening. Does anyone know of a company that sells kits? thanks Jim

you might to try http://www.phantomscreens.com
I saw a retractable screen system at Lowes yesterday. Looked pretty slick, but I wonder how easy it is to replace a damaged screen.

Lowe's has the Larson retractable screen kit at $127. per. Also the Phantom unit at $350 installed. DIY is not available for this unit.
The vertical portion of the Larson unit, the extrusion that holds the screen, is rather flimsy compared to the Phantom although it does have a full length magnetic strip to hold it in the closed position. Seems to hold just a tad stronger than the Phantom's smaller floating magnetic catch.
Over all, the Phantom, IMO, is the better product but there's just something about being forced to take an installation as part of the deal that rubs me the wrong way.
Here, Here, I agree with Ralph. The product is relatively new so I suggest waiting(if youcan) until other manufacturers come on board with well designed self install product. Otherwise suck it in and go with the best. Most of the time you never regret it. Especially if you are guaranteeing the work.
