I’m a remodeling carpenter in Ohio. I have a basement finish on a newer home coming up and the owner’s want to put in a wet bar. I have confirmed the location of the 4″ main PVC line under the basement slab. The new drain will only run 3′ to get to the main, however it will need to tie-in mid-run. What is the proper fitting to use to scab in the new wye on the main when installed below grade (concrete)? Above grade I would use a Mission Clamp type fittting with a full stainless steel sleeve. Is this fitting rated for below grade use?
