I’m interested in buying the Revolution Gemini XT Tile Saw. Anyone have any experience with it? I already have the Dewalt 24000, but was planning on selling it to one of my crew and upgrading to this Ring saw. Any problems with that? Or is a ring saw mainly for cutting only custom cuts, not the usual straight cuts for floor tile. Any insight is greatly appreciated….

I have never used it but one thing I would wonder is what the availability of a blade is.
I'm responding in hopes that it will bring this back to the top and get more feedback.
I did buy the Gemini revolution a couple of months ago, but have not opened the box.
I have a house under construction that I want to make a circular inlay in the entryway and bought it on a whim.
I tried to get responses before and hoped you would receive a few. If worse comes to worse I will be able to tell you something about it in a couple of weeks or so.
My take on it is that it is designed for small radius cuts, and a regular circular saw type blade would be best for most straight cuts. I believe the replacement blades are a bit expensive, so why waste them when a cheaper blade, or even a score & snap cutter, would work?
