I will soon be installing a sewage pump in my home. The pump manufacture (e-one) specifies 1 1/4″ pvc that is rated for at least 200 pounds of pressure for the discharge pipe. I purchased today schedule 40 1 1/4” pvc that is labeled as 370 pounds, but is also labeled “cold water only” and the invoice even said ” for water lines only”.
So I am confused to say the least. seems like it should work just fine and I won’t be pushing my luck at all, but I sure don’t want to have a problem with a sewage pipe under pressure.
What would you do?
Thanks

The last three sewage ejectors I did were plumbed with ABS

No problem with the pipe you have.
They have that on the pipe so people won't run hot water in it , the pressure rating drops when the water gets hotter.
Every foot of lift is roughly equal to a half pound of pressure, so what ever your pump says it will lift divide that by two & that will be the maximum pressure your pump will do at the base.

Oh & one othe thing
The "cold water only" also means do not use the pipe for your shops air compressor, unless you like PVC frag grenades.
