I was at the evil orange empire last night and I noticed that the 10 inch rigid contractor saw with rolling stand had dropped from 529 to 374. I then went on to notice that one of the two saws that where left at this location was used. The saw looked like it had light saw dust, and no signs of abuse, and the guy in the tool corral said it could be mine for about 200.
Is it a bad idea to buy a used table saw?
has any one heard if the despot is going to bring out a cooler better neater saw that I am going to kick myself for not waiting for?
(i am looking for a very portable 10 inch saw because it will live in my garage and constantly be moved around… it will be used primarily in my driveway which is the only place I have room to saw up big sheets.)

The plot thickens.... I was wearing my 16 month old son on my shoulders and decided not to test either saw with him there ( call me conservative) so I put them on hold and made arrangements to see them the following day. The first one had a new shiny stand, and had been left in the rain, and didnt turn over. I looked underneath and it was a giant hunk o rust. saw two was missing the splitter, blade guard and had what looked like blood splattered all over the back of the table ( I am a First responder, and I know what dried blood looks like) So, I ran away from that deal..... I looked for the saw at other despots, and they all said 0 left.
In NJ the despot tried "villagers" concept stores, and they are like the bastards kids of the home despot family and when I went for gutter spikes, there was a new saw, with the wrong price on it (499) I asked the guy, and he gave it to me for 300.... no blood. so I am pretty happy at this point!
If you are in NJ and have a villagers near you, it might pay to cruise by and ask about the 10" 15 amp, pre ryobi saws....
