Hmmmm...
I just snagged a Dremel version this AM, didn't try it yet. I noticed reading the box that the semi circ blade wasn't included, so I got one of them too, at 9.99...I wonder if it will fit my Fein?
I was on my way to a job getting odds an ends and have the Fein in the truck, but figgured for a hundred bucks, I'd give the dremel a shot..turned out I didn't need to use either today. But I will dink around with the dremel in the shop later.
Rockwell is Delta, is DeWalt is PC ? I lost track.

"Rockwell is Delta, is DeWalt is PC ? I lost track."I don't believe the name ROCKWELL has anything to do with Delta/PC/Dewalt anymore. The name seems to show up on HF type Chinese stuff on Ebay and elsewhere.
You are right.Delta was bought by Rockwell Manufacturing in 45. And PC was sold to Rockwell International in 1960.In 1973 Rockwell Manufacturing was merged into Rockwell International. In 81 PC was sold to Pentair. Some say that Delta was sold at the same time and other in 84.Rockwell International no longer exists. Some spun off as Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley)
Some spun off as Rockwell Collins (avionics).
Some some to other companies. Boeing bought there areospace divisions. And other spinoff's and buyouts for other parts of the company. The NEW Rockwell is a Positec brand.Positec is a Chinese Company that designs their own tools (not a contract manufacture) and also sell under the Workx name.I also saw stuff label Positec.I am not sure, but they might also supply Master Mechanic in the power tool lines.http://www.worxpowertools.com/news/WORX%202006%20Media%20Kit/PDF/release_positec_company.pdf
I know you are focusing on Rockwell, but for those who don't know yet I feel obliged to add that in 2005 Pentair sold Delta/Porter Cable to Black and Decker (who also owns DeWalt)Rockwell was a great company in it's day (heck, so was Craftsman and Black and Decker) in that they bought high end companies, kept the design and internals the same, but was able to mass produce and offer the same tool for a much lower price. Over time, namely in the seventies and eighties, they destroyed themselves by changing trusted designs and cheapening the internals. Just the same as Craftsman and B&D they became less "professional tool" and more "home hobbyist tool". I just bought a 1947 Rockwell/Delta/Milwaukee 20" bandsaw and it is built like a tank.
I had a Rockwell 13" thickness planer made in the 60's & I sold it when we moved 10 years ago. It was just too heavy. But like you said, the thing was built like a friggin' tank and it could really produce and hold up under a workload.
Also owned the Rockwell "speedblock" sander which was also one of the better tools I've ever had. Used it constantly for......18 years? PC bought the design when Rockwell folded & getting parts for the thing was next to impossible (this was before internet). I have the PC which is a good tool and one that they have made a fortune on.
I have the same Rockwell 1/4 sheet sander and it's going on 30 years.
If I get 10 years out of a power tool that I use all the time I feel that I've gotten my money's worth. The hand tools I buy anymore will be used long after I'm gone.
"...I wonder if it will fit my Fein?"
First thing that crossed my mind.
