I’m building an addition and part of it has a very low slope roof. I intend to use roll roofing but the last time I used the stuff was probably 10 years ago. I’m afraid I need a refresher course
1. lap (horizontal, vertical)
2. nail pattern
3. treatment of face nails if any
4. cement the entire surface or just the dripedge and laps
5. felt underlayment
6. so on and so fourth
Thanks

Another day, another tool.
Yeah, roll roofing seems to be nothing more than a waste of time. (from my experiences, at least)
the time or two I've used roll roofing there were some very good directions included w/ the material
used it a couple times over ice&watershield / UV eliminater and you can "see" when material is depreciating
great system in blind spots
oh and the directions might suggest nails everywhere / I nail the uphill edge and heavily mastic rest and has worked great
