OK here it is.
Had no plan, just an idea in my noggin.
Except for the plexiglass it is 100% salvaged material from the jobsite.
The plexi top is great for the weather, & I use dry erase markers without marking up the prints.
Everybody wants me to build another one & sell it—— I might just do that now that I know what modifications I need to make.
The top wood made out of palleting material was really green as I noticed as soon as the weather changed the corners came apart lickity slpit.
I have about 4 months of use on it now.
It’s really heavy but the hard rubber casters roll like a dream.

I should take a pic of the deck when we have all those tapes strung out pin pointing our sleeve locations.
Half of the chalk boxes were still on the deck I usually have about 6 going with 4 different colors to do layout.
I like it, especially the tubes for more drawings. We start layout next week at my new one. If we build something, I will post.
One more question. Where does the microwave go? ; ^ )
It is amazing to me that you guys can get your stuff in the walls working on those ruff decks.

Microwave, mini fridge & a crapper from a boat & I'd be set.
Microwave, mini fridge & a crapper from a boat & I'd be set.@@@Crapper from boat requires holding tank. Ask me; got both. At time you also get the Coast Guard to check to see if your pooping is done in a PC manner. They come with guns to do this. Now, a portable camper crapper would work. Yeah I'm in Bellevue, & we have 4 cranes on our job alone. click the link it gives a 24/7 live webcam of the site.

Ok, I check the live shot.
There plenty of light up there.
Why aren't you guys working already?
BTW, nice print tabel. Last one I built was in 82 on a Sears store. Functional, but way down the scale from yours.
Starting some time in September I'm supposed to switch to 2 nights & 2 days, so I will be working under that light half of the time.
I did a "three week" 5:00PM to 11:00PM chiller job las fall. It turned into a 8 week nightmare.
At least I was at ground level and I wasn't doing the grunt work outside when the weather turned cold.
Be carefull up there.
Nice job. What is it about horizontial surfaces (or even close to horizontial) that collect debris the second their on site?
When we do larger jobs and I have the desk set up, I always say no tools on the desk and 5 minutes later......
Family.....They're always there when they need you.
Cool! Where's the coffee cup holder?
I do really need to put one on it. Using the top drawer is just asking for trouble.
DW found a set of cup holders that attach to a stroller. Seems the swivel would be a handy feature to a cup holder.

@@@Check out West Marine for nautical swiveling holders of all sorts. The cheap solution is to use some scrap conduit or DWV to make a holder. Depends on the mug.The ToolBear

You sure you're a plumber? That looks way to nice to be built by one. Where's the solder stains? <G>
Nice job!
Where's the solder stains? <G>
and footprints too. ;^)
I haven't soldered a plumbing pipe on the job in about a year, good thing I have friends & family that have needed a few repairs or I might forget how ;-)
Nice! What do you keep in the drawers? I hate spending the time making up saw horses on the job, and you bang this together with pallet material!!?
Mike- Green with Envy!
Top drawer has my clip board, pencils, pens, calculator, ruler etc.......
Middle drawer I keep the tapes, mason line, marking paint, chalk box's & few other things.
Bottom drawer, has my welding gloves, other gloves, safety vest, & nylon slings to be able to lift the desk from deck to deck.
Just the 2x4 top was made from pallets.
The 4x4 styles were made from Ellis shores View ImageView Image The plywood is 3/4" MDO form plywood.
The SS doors were left over back splashes from another job that I worked on, as with the drawer hardware was from the cabinet demo models.
The locking mechanisms are from Unistrut.
When are you going to drill holes thru the structural elements to run your pipes?
That get's real scary when we do that.
Notice all those black & red cans are Hilti¯ sleeves if we miss we have to X-ray, if we drill a PT cable------ well that is not a pretty site.
Some plumber you are... shouldn't there be purple pvc primer smeared all over that thing?
I refuse to accept that there are limitations to what we can accomplish. Pete Draganic
You should see the deck, when we started running pvc sleeving for the pex we kicked a couple of cans of primer.
Thought we were gonna have to fight off the laborers------ gotta watch out for the huffers.
That's really neat...well done!
Just watch out for all those nasty speed bumps!
Christopher Robin got up in the morning, the sneezles had vanished away. And the look in his eye seemed to say to the sky, "Now how to amuse them today?".
HMMMMM...... Tape measures and knee pads???????????
Just what line of work did you say you were in ??
Need to put some outriggers or wheelie bars on the back...... Looks top heavy and I'm sure I'd knock it over while leaning on it.
What - no CO plugs for the chart tubes? You don't get any sideways rain up there?
