Adrianne,
What have you decided to do ?
Re: the insulation... Mike had it right. Either get some light cans that are insulation safe, or get rid of the lights. Either way, lay a lot more insulation down.
*Hi Luka: We've decided to wait until the rainy/cold weather is mostly over and then try to get someone to change those can lights and put insulation on top like you and Mike suggested. Seems a lot easier than removing the lights and having to patch the holes. THEN probably wait some more to see what happens. The last time we fixed the wall it got ruined again, so we don't want to go thru that again. And call the contractor that did the reroofing and find out if he put the rubber stufff under the siding of the house (I'm sure he didn't) and see what he says AGAIN about fixing it so it doesn't happen again - like he said in the very beginning it would. And fix the shingles from chopping the ice off. I figure a big headache all the way around. After that I'm at a loss. I really don't understand how them saying having the roof redone and doing whatever they were gonna do would fix that leak problem, and 3 years later we still have it.........
